Masaya Nakamura, chairperson of CReM TONOHANE, chaired the 24th Congress of the Japanese Society for Regenerative Medicine (JSRM 2025) at PACIFICO Yokohama North from Thursday, March 20 to Saturday, March 22, 2025.
Poster Presentation
Prof. Yoshimi Yashiro, Head of the Planning Division in our cluster, led the poster presentation, “CReM TONOHANE: Establishing a Social Implementation Platform for Regenerative and Gene/Cell Therapies in Eastern Japan.” In addition to previously reported content from the King SkyFront Science Forum 2024—such as activity updates and the service provision framework—we also introduced several new initiatives being undertaken at our cluster. (For more information, ☞ click here.)
① Basic Study on Spinal Cord Functional Regeneration Using Genetically Engineered Neural Stem Cells Derived from Human iPS Cells
② Bone and Cartilage Regenerative Therapy for Idiopathic Osteonecrosis of the Knee Joint Using Bio 3D Printing Technology
③ Large-Scale Expansion of Human Mesenchymal Stem Cells (hMSC) Based on Quality by Design (QbD)
④ Development of a Human Adipose-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cell Therapy for Idiopathic Peripheral Ulcerative Keratitis and Corneal Ulcers Associated with Chronic Graft-versus-Host Disease (cGVHD)
⑤ The Cost-Effectiveness Analysis of Regenerative Medical Products from The Perspective of HTA(Health Technology Assessment)
Details of each initiative can be found ☞ here.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all those who stopped for the poster and showed great interest in our cluster initiatives.
Moving forward, we will continue striving to meet your expectations by advancing scientifically validated regenerative medicine — ensuring its safety and efficacy in line with evidence-based “Explorative Therapy” as outlined in the YOKOHAMA Declaration 2025 by the Japanese Society for Regenerative Medicine. Our mission remains to deliver these therapies to society as swiftly as possible.
